September 21, 1958 – May 20th, 2024

Tim E. was born in Boulder, CO to Tom E. and Gail Lacey. Tim E. unexpectedly passed away on May 20th, 2024. Thankfully he was surrounded by friends and having a wonderful time during an outing in Breckenridge with his Elevated Supports family.

Tim E. spent most of his life in the Niwot/Longmont area. During his youth he was involved in 4-H, showing beef cattle, chickens, and dairy cows. He loved his Jersey cows the best. Tim E. graduated from Niwot High School in 1979 and was a member of the FFA club. After high school Tim E. went to work at the Liquor Mart for 40+ years.

During the years Mom and Tim E. visited every US state. They would take road trips once or twice a year and head on down the road finding adventure along the way. One time when they were in Michigan, they ended up hoteling in a backwoods trailer for the night. A bit sketchy but none the worse for the ware. To get to Hawaii and Alaska they took a cruise and had a blast enjoying the ship’s amenities.

Upon his retirement he moved to Hover Manor in Longmont and met some wonderful folks and friends. Tim E. was also involved with Elevated Supports and through them he lived his best life these last few years. Going on excursions to the Grizzley Rose, to the Eagles hockey games in Loveland, playing bingo, doing arts and crafts, and one of his favorites, eating lunch at the Legion every Friday.

Tim E. is preceded in death by his father Thomas E. Lacey and mother Gail M. Lacey. He is survived by his siblings, Christopher Lacey (Ceclia), Curtis Lacey (Laurie), Tammy Lacey (Geof Lutz), his niece and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
